All entrees served with sides of rice & beans ( signature Cuban congris seasoned with green bell peppers, onion, garlic, olive oil, cumin, bay leaves, and love ), and sweet plantains ( essential, irresistible, and uniquely memorable ). Calabaza con Mojo Butternut squash, simmered until tender, topped with abuela Estela’s garlic sauce, toasted pumpkin seeds and fresh parsley. Picadillo de Soya Cuban style vegetarian hash, seasoned with bell peppers, onion, garlic, pimento-stuffed olives, raisins. Topped with golden potato cubes. Fricase de Pollo Chicken thighs and legs, bone-in, marinated overnight and braised in dry wine, with bell peppers, garlic, onion, tomato, and potatoes. Topped with petit pois. Lechon Asado Pork roast, the classic slow-roast seasoned with garlic, cumin, onion, and citrus juice, certainly a must for an authentic Cuban occasion. Ropa Vieja Shredded flank steak, traditional style, simmered until irresistibly juicy in a tomato, sherry, bell pepper, garlic, and onion, sauce, topped with pimentos. |
